Vi har produceret og udgivet rejsevideoer siden 2019. Det er blevet til godt 330 og knap femten timer — fra Son Doong i Vietnam, hvor hulen er så stor, at der står regnskov nede i bunden af den, til Teahupo’o på Tahiti, hvor bølgen bryder ind over et lavt koralrev og blev olympisk arena i 2024.
Mad og vin er den største kategori med 37 videoer. Derefter kommer ski med 19 og sol og strand med 16. Geografisk ligger tyngden i Europa — Spanien og Italien har flest, så følger Frankrig, Østrig og Grækenland — og USA er det eneste land uden for Europa, der ligger i toppen. Den ældste video er fra marts 2019, den nyeste fra juni 2026.
Resten spreder sig tyndere: Tahiti, Thailand, Indonesien, Skotland, Norge, Kenya. Filtrene viser kun de rejsemål, der rent faktisk har en video bag sig — står et land ikke på listen, har vi ikke dækket det endnu.
Videoerne er korte. Medianen ligger lige over to minutter, og den længste — en gennemgang af skiområder fra Østrig over Frankrig til Whistler i Canada — varer fjorten. De er lavet til at give en fornemmelse, ikke til at erstatte en guide, og de virker bedst, når du allerede har et sted i tankerne og gerne vil se, hvordan der ser ud.
To klynger fylder mest: ski og mad
Nitten videoer handler om ski, og de rækker længere end de sædvanlige alpedale: Livigno i Italien, Engelberg i Schweiz, Åre i Sverige, de canadiske Rockies, og en om ski i Tyskland. En enkelt tager tolv europæiske skidestinationer i træk, fra Østrig til Åre, og den er værd at bruge fem minutter på, hvis valget står mellem flere steder og du er træt af at have tolv faner åbne.
Mad og vin fylder endnu mere, syvogtredive videoer, og tyngden ligger i glasset snarere end på tallerkenen. De italienske vindistrikter fra nord til syd, Brunello og Barolo og ti derimellem, de store franske regioner, de amerikanske vine — og en om, hvorfor rødvin ofte fungerer til fisk, hvilket er stik imod det, de fleste har lært.
