Sea turtles are amazing prehistoric creatures we all love, so take care of them.
Sea turtles have only seven surviving species left!
The surviving species can still be seen with a little luck and perhaps wearing a diving suit. We will show you some travel destinations where there are good chances of seeing these amazing animals from very small to several 100 kg sea bears with a record lifespan of about 100 years. Sea turtles have existed for over 100 million years, but today they are threatened by plastic pollution, bycatch in fishing, habitat loss and climate change. Several species are already critically endangered.

Fortunately, there are organizations that work hard to save these fascinating animals – and you can join in! It’s not a pressure ball, it’s meant as a service, many people want to know, “how can I make a big difference for endangered animals with a small effort.” Here are 3 serious organizations you can safely support
1. Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC)
About the organization: STC is the world's oldest organization dedicated to the protection of sea turtles. They work globally with conservation projects, research and education – particularly in the Caribbean and the United States.
